During the 2022 summer holidays, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) decided to strengthen the practice of sports activities in the neighborhoods by launching the "Aerobics for all" program in various public Squares and by supporting the organization of local sports competitions.

For several weeks now, technicians from the Department of Physical Activities and Sports (DAPS) have been supporting young and old alike, particularly on Squares St Pierre, Canapé Vert, Hugo Chavez... in aerobics sessions.

These sessions allow practitioners to eliminate calories and strengthen their cardiovascular and immune systems. As a result, the MJSAC, thanks to the aerobics program, contributes to the fight against certain diseases and pathologies such as depression, stress, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity...

Very sensitive to the holding of the "Aerobics for all" program, the Minister Rival, accompanied by her Director of Cabinet, Me Jean Tholbert Alexis, supervised the progress of the sessions on several occasions and proceeded to the distribution of sports equipment to the practitioners of the Places Boyer and Green Sofa. She intends to make the "Aerobics for All Program" a national activity.
