Thursday, September 15, 2022, "protesters" who denounced the increase in the price of petroleum products attacked, looted and set fire to Thomassin 32 (commune of Pétion ville), the residence of former Senator Edmonde Supplice Bauzil, President of the Fusion Party of the Social Democrats (FUSION) and ally of the power in place within the framework of the September 11 agreement.
"Thank you to you who invited your henchmen to set fire to my house to loot my house. A choice I made as a woman in a macho environment, to do politics. As a social democrat, I have always promoted dialogue as a solution at all times," reacted Edmonde Supplice Beauzile, pointing to Nenel Cassy and Youri Latortue who, according to her, gave the order to attack her home.
“Smugglers of this country, allies of gangs, malicious politicians and people with microphones, I led a fight alongside some of you except alongside MJC (Moïse Jean Charles), thinking that you thought country. Honestly I understand the fate reserved for Jovenel. You are all killers !»
