Given the growing deterioration of the situation in Haiti and the increase in insecurity, the Ambassador of France in Port-au-Prince Fabrice Mauries sends a message to all French women and men living in Haiti.

Message from French Ambassador Mauries:

"Dear compatriots,

The situation remains uncertain on the territory.

Mandatory recommendations:

- restriction of travel to what is strictly necessary;
- extreme caution during these;
- distance from all gatherings;
- at home, stock of essential products.

Please ensure that your travel documents are valid for you and your family.

The French Embassy is open to the public if conditions permit;
