"The Apostolic Nunciature in Haiti, in agreement with the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince is organizing a requiem mass for Pope 'emeritus' Benoit XVI, on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 9:30 a.m., at the Church of Saint-Pierre from Petion-ville.

The Apostolic Nunciature and the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince invite all priests, men and women religious and lay faithful to take part in this Mass to pray for Pope 'emeritus' Benedict XVI who was a model of humility, simplicity, unity and fidelity for the universal Church.

The Apostolic Nunciature in Haiti and the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince are counting on the presence of all of you to entrust to the inexhaustible mercy of our Heavenly Father, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, to welcome him into his house of joy, peace and light."
