Augustin Mondestin, gang leader of "400 Egaré", who operates in Maïssade (border town with the Dominican Republic) has beenarrested by the police on January 1st, 2023 in Saint-Raphaël (North Dept.) while he was come to participate in a mystical ceremony, organized as every year by his family.
Involved in the armed attack perpetrated on the Maïssade police station on September 7, 2022 during which the police officer Jean Roger, Agent 4, had been shot in the leg, he had since been on the run in the neighboring Republic.
