iciHaiti - Roadside check : Seized of drugs, traffickers flee

Saturday, February 18, 2023 during a traffic check on the road to Mirebalais, agents of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) found in 2 public transport vehicles that were coming from Port-au-Prince to go to Cap , 4 packets of marijuana and a 9mm caliber pistol with 4 magazines.
The people carrying the illegal goods managed to flee when they saw the police searching the vehicles. The police managed to recover the phone of one of them.
The Mirebalais police carried out this search in the presence of the Reserve Commissioner of the Government of Mirebalais Me Lens Jean Thomas.
