During the "Pan American Series" tournament in Costa Rica (February 24 and 25, 2023), qualifier for the next Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC) in El Salvador (June 28 to July 7, 2023), Ava Lee (16 years old) and her sister Jessica Lee (15) who adopted the Haitian sports nationality made our national bicolor float high by winning each a gold medal in their respective category.

Ava Lee, won on February 24 a gold medal in the category of (-68 kg) and Jessica Lee, won hers in the category of (-55 kg),

These 2 victories allow you to obtain 2 tickets for the Central American and Caribbean Games

In addition, the Haitian Federation of twnaekwondo (FHTKD) also announced 1 additional ticket thanks to the qualification of the Haitian-American Aliyah Shipman (20).

Apart from these 3 tickets already acquired, Haitian taekwondo will also benefit from two invitations and the beneficiaries should come from a "fight-off" in Haiti if the security situation allows it /

April 24 and 25, 2023 Dominican Republic : Cadet and Junior Championship.

May 29 to June 4 Azerbaijan : World Cup
