The Haitian flag, a symbol of our independence, history, and resilience, was hoisted high in a public square in Melbourne (Federation Square) today. lt floats proudly, a testament to the strength and determination of our people. This is a historie moment to celebrate our heritage and remind the world of our contribution to the struggle for freedom. We understand that recent times have been difficult. The challenges we face as a nation are many, but always remember that an unbreakable bond unîtes us. We are a supportive community, ready to inspire each other. By raising the Haitian flag in Melbourne, we want to send you a message of comfort and hope. We are here in Australia, ready to work together to build a better future. Regardless of the distance that separates us, our love for Haiti and devotion to our homeland remain unchanged.
