iciHaiti - PNH : Arrest of 2 bandits actively sought

Saturday, May 20, 2023, about to ransom a driver who was towing his car, an armed bandit was fatally injured in exchanges of fire with a police patrol, at Rue O-L (Cap-Haitien). This bandit, a member of the "G-9" gang coalition led by "Barbecue", operating in Port-au-Prince, held a 12-gauge rifle with cartridges.
On the same day, Waldeck Orphilus (22 years old) accused of attempted murder and rape and Joude Désir, actively wanted, were arrested by the police in the Cité Lescot area. Waldeck Orphilus is charged with attempted murder and rape. Four phones found in their possession were also confiscated.
At the same time, at nightfall, informed by the population of the presence of two individuals who were pointing at passers-by on National Road #1, in particular at Rivière Salé, the police quickly intervened and confiscated a motorcycle on board which were the two robbers who managed to flee despite heavy fire from the police.
