The Primature informs the population in general that, during a Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr Ariel Henry, the Government decreed, on Saturday 12, Sunday 13 and Monday 14 August, days of national mourning< /B> in memory of the late President Boniface Alexandre.

During these three days, the national flag will be lowered and radio and television stations are required to program programs and music for the occasion.

The government also grants a state funeral to President Alexande. These will take place, Monday, August 14, 2023, in the premises of the Court of Cassation according to the last wishes of the deceased.
