iciHaiti - PNH : Presentation to the public of the Antigang Unit

Saturday September 23, 2023, the Haitian National Police (PNH) presented to the public during a ceremony organized at the premises of the General Directorate of the PNH, the special unit called UTAG (Temporary Anti-Gang Unit).
This unit, which has the specific mission of dismantling gang centers across the metropolitan region of Port au Prince and its surroundings, as well as in other regions of the country, is made up of selected agents from several specialized units of the PNH.
Since its establishment by Commander-in-Chief a.i. Frantz Elbé, members of the highly trained and equipped UTAG have actively and tirelessly participated in the fight against gangs and urban guerrilla warfare, one of the priorities of the High Command of the PNH.
