Sunday October 15, 2023 around 4:30 p.m., around thirty Haitian migrants in an irregular migration situation, including adults and minor children, disembarked illegally aboard a sailboat of approximately 5m in Long Bay (Portland, Jamaica).

According to information available from the Jamaican authorities, some Haitians were part of a group of illegal immigrants who arrived here in September 2022 and repatriated to Haiti, who attempted the trip again...

This is the third arrival of illegal Haitians in this parish since the beginning of the year.
