Jean Ronald Joseph, Director General of National Education (FNE), during a recent inspection, noted that the construction of the National School of Belle-Rivière, erected on the heights in Miragoâne, is progressing rapidly towards its completion (more than 80%). The firm in charge of the work indicated that only the erection of the retaining walls remains to be carried out to protect the students against the risk of landslides. The four buildings of three rooms each, the toilet blocks and the planned reservoir have already been raised, thus exceeding the contractual deadline.

Asked about the condition of the ground surrounding the building, the firm assured that it will be fitted with gravel, adapted to the nature of the construction.

However, Jean Ronald Joseph, while welcoming the efforts of the firm, highlighted the absence of a playground for the students, evoking the need to consider a fun space adapted to their development...

It is envisaged that the inauguration of this school will take place soon, subject to the integration of additional works and the recommendations of the technical team.
