iciHaiti - New Year : Message from the former PM Evans Paul
On January 1st, 2024, former Prime Minister Evans Paul alias "K-Plum" delivered a message that we invite you to read:

"At the convergence of destinies, let's call to build the enlightened paths of Haiti, where each patriot stands in solidarity, where each innovative voice sings the political hope of living together, braving insecurity, fighting against precariousness.

Worthy heirs of Crête-à-Pierrot and Vertières, let's draw inspiration from the exploits of our ancestors. Let's engage this time in a peaceful revolution for prosperity, embracing the diversity of rational ideas aimed at building a Haitian society of social justice.

Actions conducive to political stability will emerge, propelling investment, economic growth and employment.

We must also immediately eradicate armed gangs, perpetrating criminal acts such as kidnapping, rape, dispossession and assassinations of peaceful citizens with complete impunity.

The families of Croix-des-Bouquets, Savien, Lestère, Martissant, Carrefour-Feuilles and Gressier, etc..., chased by these criminals, find themselves abandoned to their fate, desperately awaiting the intervention of the authorities to regain their right to live.

Let's safeguard the lives of our police officers and soldiers so that they can fully assume their role of : PROTECT AND SERVE.

Guides of our destiny and architects of our well-being, let us engage in good faith in the immense project of national reconstruction.

May every gesture be a manifestation of hope! And, each look, a glimmer of kindness !

Evans PAUL
