iciHaiti - SANIFIN Project : Strengthening capacities for fecal sludge management
The first crucial step of comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the situation in terms of fecal sludge management (FSM) in Haiti was successfully carried out by partner CSL who recently held a productive meeting with the Regional Office of the Drinking Water and Sanitation (OREPA - West) to discuss the results and next steps for the community of Montrouis. The project is making progress in strengthening local capacities for fecal sludge management in Haiti.

Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti) and executed by the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), the “Financing Climate Resilient Sanitation Services” (SANIFIN) project lasting 5 years is an innovative market-based initiative designed to improve access to resilient sanitation services and meet the needs of 85,000 people in Haiti.

SANFIN project activities cover the Great North, the Great South and part of the West department.
