iciHaiti - Security : Meeting between the Minister of Defense and the American Ambassador

Wednesday July 3rd, 2024, Jean Marc Berthier Antoine, the Minister of Defense, received at the Ministry, the United States Ambassador to Haiti, Dennis B. Hankins.
At the center of the exchange, the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS) was discussed at length. The two men also discussed essential subjects related to bilateral defense cooperation with a particular emphasis on the training of the Haitian military.
Minister Antoine and Ambassador Dennis B. Hankins agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the United States and Haiti. Minister Antoine expressed his deep gratitude for the unwavering support of the United States and underlined the importance of this cooperation for the development and security of the country.
