As part of the fight against armed gangs, the Haitian National Police (PNH) continues its joint operations with the Multinational Mission in several areas of the country, particularly in Torcel, in the territory of the "Kraze baryè" gang led by Vitel'homme Innocent wanted with a bounty of 2 million from the American Department of State https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-43349-icihaiti-wanted-$2-million-bounty-for-vitel-homme-innocent.html

During operations carried out jointly with the Multinational Force (MMSS), on Saturday 12 and Monday 14 October 2024, aimed at dismantling the "Kraze baryè" gang, around twenty bandits were fatally injured in clashes with the forces of the order, firearms, ammunition, mobile phones, sensitive materials and equipment were seized. Deshommes, the 2nd leader of the gang "Kraze baryè" as known, was injured during the exchange of fire with the police. Our valiant police officers entered strategic areas used by the gang.

It should be noted that, during these operations, an armored vehicle of the Mission broke down and could not be restarted despite the intervention of technicians on site.
