Dr. Georges Brignol Fils, Minister of Public Health and Population, has just completed a three-day tour of the North and Northeast departments of Haiti. The objective was to assess and improve health infrastructure in partnership with local authorities

He visited key institutions, such as the Justinien University Hospital, the Fort-Liberté Hospital and the construction site of the Saint-Pierre Hospital.

In Ouanaminthe, he undertook actions to strengthen medical staff and improve working conditions, while meeting with local authorities to discuss intersectoral cooperation focused on safety and quality of care.

At the end of this tour, several strategic decisions were made, such as increasing medical staff, optimizing human resources management, and regularizing the contracts of unconfirmed employees.
