On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the Haitian First Division Special National Championship kicked off with several matches across the country.

Defending champion Real Hope FA began its title defense with a 2-2 draw against AS Capoise at Parc Résigné in Milot. Meanwhile, Ouanaminthe FC, the unfortunate finalist in the last edition, lost 3-1 to Fica at Parc Saint-Victor in Cap-Haïtien.

Away from home, Juventus FC put in a strong performance, winning away to Cavaly AS 3-2 at Parc Gérard Christophe in Léogâne. Two other matches ended in draws: Triomphe AC and Tempête FC 1-1 at Parc Levelt in Saint-Marc, and Violette AC and Don Bosco FC 1-1 at Parc Sainte-Thérèse in Pétion-Ville.
