Building on the inaugural success of the Concacaf W Gold Cup and the W Champions Cup, the Confederation of North, Central American, and Caribbean Associations (CONCACAF) is taking another step forward in the development of the Women's football with the introduction of an expanded and redesigned calendar for women's national teams, applicable throughout the 2025–2029 international cycle.

The new format for women's national competitions in Concacaf now includes :

• The Concacaf W Qualifiers

October and November 2025, and February and April 2026, will determine the teams participating in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

• The Concacaf W Championship

This tournament will take place in November 2026 and will serve as a qualifier for both the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil and the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

• The Women's Nations League

This competition is scheduled for February, April, and November 2028, following the 2027 World Cup.

• The W Gold Cup (second edition)

The second edition of this prestigious competition will take place in the summer of 2029, featuring the region's best teams.

The The official draw will take place on August 20 at 7:00 PM (ET) in Miami and will be streamed live on the Concacaf YouTube channel. Haiti is already seeded first in Group E.
