iciHaiti - Anse d’Hainault : The footbridge over the Médisant River is very advanced

Located in the localitt of Anse d'Hainault, this project aims to improve residents' mobility during periods of heavy rainfall and minimize flood risks, thereby ensuring effective protection of residents and their property.

This major project is part of the Safety Net Strengthening Program for Vulnerable Communities (HA-J0005). Led by the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) and financially supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), it reflects a long-term approach to solidarity and security.

On the ground, the work is being carried out by the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), which is involving several specialized teams to complete this vital infrastructure, which also provides jobs for several heads of households in the area.
