iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : City Hall calls for clearing sidewalks and threatens
The municipal administration reminds all residents that, as of November 1st, 2025, it is strictly forbidden for anyone illegally occupying public spaces (streets, sidewalks, and areas around water tanks) to use these spaces for selling goods, operating garages, washing cars, or occupying sidewalks for any other personal activity.

All vendors sitting on sidewalks, as well as mechanics occupying public spaces to sell rubber or perform car repairs, are asked by City Hall to vacate these spaces immediately.

The City Hall reminds everyone that illegal occupation of streets without any justification, such as those at numbers 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, as well as abandoned vehicles on sidewalks, will no longer be tolerated in the city.

Anyone who does not comply with these regulations will be subject to the legal penalties provided for this purpose.

The municipal administration counts on the cooperation of all citizens to help keep the city clean, orderly, and disciplined.
