iciHaiti - Grand'Anse : FAES launches 10 new projects 06/12/2025 08:21:01
The projects include the rehabilitation of seven streets in the municipality of Jérémie, as well as the development of two streets in Beaumont and the construction of a perimeter fence around the Dame-Marie cemetery. The official launch of the projects took place at the end of November and is being overseen by the Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI-Haiti), an organization recognized for its expertise in community interventions in challenging environments. These initiatives not only improve local infrastructure but also provide a source of temporary income for heads of households, thus contributing to the local economy and the well-being of residents. These projects are part of the program to strengthen safety nets for vulnerable populations (HA-J0005), funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. IH/ iciHaiti
