The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) has launched 10 new projects in the Grand'Anse department to improve the living conditions of local populations.

The projects include the rehabilitation of seven streets in the municipality of Jérémie, as well as the development of two streets in Beaumont and the construction of a perimeter fence around the Dame-Marie cemetery.

The official launch of the projects took place at the end of November and is being overseen by the Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI-Haiti), an organization recognized for its expertise in community interventions in challenging environments.

These initiatives not only improve local infrastructure but also provide a source of temporary income for heads of households, thus contributing to the local economy and the well-being of residents.

These projects are part of the program to strengthen safety nets for vulnerable populations (HA-J0005), funded by the Inter-American Development Bank.
