The new digital embarkation and disembarkation card, "iKat" launched on Thursday, December 4h, 2025, at the El Rancho Hotel (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46351-haiti-tourism-presentation-of-the-ikat-digital-embarkation-and-disembarkation-card-project.html), developed under the leadership of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, in collaboration with the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI), the General Directorate of Customs (DGD), and the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), modernizes the collection of migration, customs, and health data, while aligning the Haitian State with international standards is now in effect.

Antoine Jean Simon Fénelon, Director General of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration, reminds the public that all travelers are now required to complete the digital embarkation and disembarkation form 72 hours before their trip, whether traveling by land, air, or sea.

The "iKat" project simplifies departure and entry formalities and provides authorities with seamless and reliable access to the statistical data necessary for monitoring migration flows.

This initiative demonstrates the Haitian government’s ability to modernize its services in accordance with international standards.
