Dieuseul Predelus, Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH), and Miguel Hermida Santos, Director of EUDE Business School (Spain), signed a major academic and scientific cooperation agreement. This agreement strengthens bilateral relations between Haiti and Spain in the field of higher education.

Strategic Cooperation Under the Aegis of Haitian Diplomacy :

The signing ceremony took place in Madrid in the presence of the Haitian Ambassador to Spain, Wooldy Edson Louidor. This partnership underscores the Haitian government's commitment to placing knowledge and higher education at the heart of its diplomatic strategy in Spain.

This is the first agreement between these two institutions specifically aimed at strengthening Haiti's human capital and academic capacity.

The 6 main pillars of the agreement :

• Joint academic programs :

  Creation and implementation of shared curricula;

• Student mobility :

  Student exchanges for Bachelor's (undergraduate) and Master's (graduate) programs;

• Professional exchanges :

  Mobility of faculty and administrative staff;

• Customized training :

  Joint design and administration of training modules;

• Research and publications :

  Production of educational, scientific, and cultural works;

• Scientific outreach :

  Organization of international conferences and academic activities.

Towards the Internationalization of Education : This collaboration marks a key step towards the internationalization of education in Haiti. It fosters not only the sharing of high-level knowledge but also a rich cultural exchange between Caribbean and European institutions.
