iciHaiti - Anse-d'Hainault : Ambulance returns to service after 2 years

On Sunday, January 4th, 2026, the National Ambulance Center (CAN), Grand’Anse Department, reaffirmed its commitment to the residents of Anse-d’Hainault with the official handover of an ambulance that had been out of service for two years.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Deputy District Delegate, the Mayor, the Hospital Administrator, religious representatives (priest and pastor), the logistics department, members of civil society, and other local authorities.

The residents of Anse-d’Hainault warmly welcomed the CAN team, expressing their great satisfaction with the return of the ambulance. It is worth noting that the current CAN management has only been in place for six months, demonstrating its commitment to acting quickly and effectively.

The event took place in a friendly and emotionally charged atmosphere, reflecting the satisfaction and hope of the local population regarding improved access to emergency healthcare services in the community.
