iciHaiti - Bel-Air : 64 terrorists killed and 59 others wounded
For several days, the Haitian National Police (PNH) has been conducting a series of operations against the headquarters of terrorist groups located in the center of the capital, particularly in Bel-Air, on Rue Saint Martin, Grand Rue, and La Saline.

In 14 days (provisional count), at least 116 people have been killed, including 64 terrorists, in the Bel-Air sector of Port-au-Prince since the beginning of January, during a series of joint operations conducted by the PNH, revealed Fritznel Pierre, Executive Director of the NGO "Combite Pour La Paix et le Développement" (CPD), on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

In addition, 58 other terrorists have been wounded, while the NGO reports that it has also counted 52 innocent civilians killed and 26 others wounded, most of whom were used as human shields or hit by stray bullets or suicide drone attacks during the violent clashes.

According to Fritznel Pierre, "the fear has changed sides" stating that the bandits are now fleeing their hideouts and taking refuge, notably in the marginalized neighborhood of Cité-Soleil in Port-au-Prince.
