iciHaiti - Solidarity : Actress Katiana Milfort treated in Cuba

Thanks to the commitment of Pedrica Saint Jean, the Minister for the Status of Women, in collaboration with the Office of Workplace Accident, Sickness and Maternity Insurance (OFATMA) and the services of the Ministry, new hope is offered to the Haitian actress Katiana Milfort. This mobilization allowed the actress to travel on Sunday January 18, 2026 to Cuba, in order to receive the specialized care essential to her survival and the improvement of her state of health.
This approach, carried out in the presence of Ms. Ronique Paul Jean, the new Director of the Directorate for Combating Violence Against Women and Girls, reflects the desire of the Ministry for the Status of Women to transform support for women into concrete actions, beyond speeches.
Through this action, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to protecting the dignity, health and rights of women, particularly those who find themselves in situations of great vulnerability.
