Sixteen years ago, the January 12, 2010 earthquake profoundly affected us, taking with it lives, dreams, and a portion of our built heritage.

This is why the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) strongly encourages investment in the construction of modern, sustainable, and responsible buildings.

Investing in earthquake-resistant construction is, first and foremost, about protecting lives by providing Haiti with infrastructure that meets standards and withstands natural hazards. It is also about building a sustainable future with safe buildings adapted to our geological context, while seizing a major economic opportunity in a high-growth sector that addresses an urgent need. Finally, these rigorous construction standards reassure and attract national and international partners, thus strengthening investor confidence.

The CFI is committed to providing free support to all project developers in the real estate sector, facilitating their administrative procedures and guiding them toward available incentives.
