On Monday, February 16, 2026, after finishing 44th in the Men's Giant Slalom at the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Milan-Cortin, on the Stelvio slope in Bormio (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46858-haiti-2026-winter-olympics-franco-haitian-richardson-viano-ranked-44th-best-skier-in-the-world-in-giant-slalom.html), Franco-Haitian Richardson Viano finished 29th out of 96 slalom skiers on a challenging course and in difficult weather conditions, marked by numerous crashes, as only 46 skiers managed to cross the finish line.

In his second appearance at the Winter Olympics, Richardson Viano significantly improved his ranking, having finished 34th at the Beijing Olympics .
