The Embassy of Haiti in the Dominican Republic informs the Haitian community that the Passport Unit of the Consular Section will be holding a three-week "Complaints Week" to process pending passport applications, from Monday, March 2nd to Friday, March 20th, 2026.

Anyone who applied for a passport at the Embassy between 2021 and 2024 and has not yet received it is invited to visit the Consular Section to review their application and regularize their situation.

Furthermore, the National Identification Card (CIN) is required for all procedures. Those who have already completed the application process for the card will receive a temporary identification certificate for their records. Otherwise, they will have the opportunity to take advantage of this initiative to apply for a National Identification Card (CIN) on-site : No fees are required for this process.
