iciHaiti - Football : The LHF pays tribute to Hébert Cadet

The Haitian Football League (LHF) expresses its deep and sincere gratitude to Hébert Cadet for his exemplary commitment and many years of dedicated service to the development of Haitian football as a field commissioner.

Born on May 29, 1961, and an active member of the Haitian Football Federation since 1994, Cadet has established himself over the decades as one of the country's most knowledgeable, respected, and influential commissioners. Regularly assigned to oversee high-intensity matches, including the most emblematic national derbies, he has consistently demonstrated rigor, moral integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. His dedication and professionalism have earned him the Commissioner of the Year Award, formerly known as the Delegate Award, on several occasions.

His recent appointment to officiate the opening series final between Violette AC and Baltimore SC is further proof of his exceptional expertise and the unwavering trust placed in him by the governing bodies of Haitian football.

A literature professor by training, he has also contributed as a championship organizer and mentor to young talents, many of whom have proudly represented the national team.

A former player for Hatüey Bacardi Club, Cadet has dedicated his life to his passion for football and its sustainable development in Haiti. Nicknamed "le Vieux Briscard" (The Old Man) he remains a role model and a reference point for several generations of professionals and fans of the beautiful game.

As a token of its deepest gratitude, the Haitian Football League pays tribute to Mr. Hébert Cadet for his exceptional and lasting contribution to the prestige and excellence of Haitian football.
