Training Session on Administrative Investigations for Officers of the General Inspectorate of the Haitian National Police (IGPNH).

At the initiative of the General Inspectorate of the Haitian National Police (IGPNH), 31 police officers assigned to the IGPNH are participating in a training session on administrative investigations (February 23 to Friday, March 6, 2026).

Supported by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Haiti and the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH), this training aims to strengthen the capacities of these officers.

As part of its mission to monitor, supervise, and ensure compliance with disciplinary standards within the police force, the administrative investigations conducted by the IGPNH are a key tool for ensuring adherence to internal regulations, ethical principles, and applicable laws.

With this initiative, the IGPNH reaffirms its ongoing commitment to improving the efficiency, transparency, and performance of its operations. Furthermore, this training aims to strengthen agents' skills in conducting administrative investigations, with a particular emphasis on methodological rigor, impartiality, strict adherence to procedures, and the proper application of regulations.
