On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, the registration process for political parties, groups, and coalitions began as scheduled at the central office of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) in Pétion-ville.

On this first day, approximately ten representatives from various political parties came to register their organizations or request further explanations about the process.

This phase will continue until March 12, 2026. The list of approved parties, groups, and coalitions will be published on March 26, 2026, in accordance with the electoral calendar (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46492-haiti-flash-the-cep-has-just-published-the-revised-electoral-calendar-in-the-moniteur.html).

The CEP reiterates its commitment to conducting the electoral process with complete independence and transparency, in an impartial and inclusive manner.
