As part of strengthening partnerships, Vladimir Paraison, Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), received a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP-Haiti). Accompanied by members of the High Command, Commander Paraison met with representatives of the UN agency to discuss the progress of their joint projects. The delegation was led by Xavier Michon, UNDP Resident Representative in Haiti, and Sylvain Merlin, Deputy Resident Representative, along with several other UN officials. The meeting aimed to consolidate current achievements and advance ongoing programs. Discussions focused primarily on three areas : - Securing borders and customs posts; - Strengthening psychosocial support for police officers exposed to traumatic situations; - The project to build a police training center in the southern department of the country. Following the discussions, the UNDP delegation visited the Control, Communication, and Intelligence Center (C3I).
