2nd edition of the Agro-Gastro-Artisanal Fair of the National School Canteen Program in Haiti

As part of its efforts to promote school meals, enhance the value of local products, and strengthen the links between Haitian agriculture, gastronomy, and crafts, the General Coordination of the National School Feeding Program (PNCS) informs the general public, partner institutions, local producers, artisans, community organizations, and stakeholders in the education sector that it is organizing the 2nd edition of its agricultural, gastronomic, and craft fair at its headquarters in Catalpa 5, on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, to coincide with Labor Day and Agriculture Day.

Organized under the theme "Ann bay timoun yo manje lokal pou nou kore pwodiksyon nasyonal la" (Let's feed children local food to support national production), this initiative is part of the implementation of the National School Feeding Policy (2024–2030).

This fair will serve as an exhibition, sales, and tasting space for the PNCS. Discussions will be held around local agricultural products, handcrafted creations that celebrate national cultural heritage, and community initiatives related to school nutrition and local development. Cultural, educational, and awareness-raising activities will also be organized, including culinary demonstrations, exhibitions of local products, thematic conferences on nutrition and school meals, as well as cultural and artistic performances.

The General Coordination therefore invites all Institutional Partners, Producer Organizations, Schools, Economic Actors, and the general public to actively participate in this event, which aims to strengthen food security, the local economy, and the promotion of Haitian cultural identity.
