As part of his tour of the North Department, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé visited Cap-Haitien, where he engaged with crowds in the city streets, reaffirming his commitment to maintaining ongoing dialogue with the population and bringing public services closer to citizens.

The Prime Minister notably visited 3 HIJ Street, where he toured the market accompanied by the mayor and local authorities of Cap-Haïtien. During this visit, initial steps were taken toward relocating the market, with the aim of creating a public square and contributing to the beautification and improved organization of this urban space.

Later, the Prime Minister visited the Milot town hall, where he met with local authorities, including the mayors and representatives of the territorial communities.

Discussions focused on the municipality's development priorities, security enhancements, and the conditions necessary for holding elections in a climate of stability, peace, and trust.

On this occasion, solar streetlights were distributed to the community, demonstrating the Government's commitment to improving local infrastructure, strengthening public safety, and supporting local authorities in their development efforts.

Fils-Aimé also visited the Cap-Haitien Customs Office, a strategic institution central to the functioning of the State and the mobilization of public resources. There, the Prime Minister met with the institution's officials to discuss the challenges related to strengthening its efficiency, improving its services, and rigorously fulfilling its mission for the benefit of the nation.

The Prime Minister also visited the Northern Departmental Directorate of the Haitian National Police (PNH) at the Cap-Haitien Police Station, where he met with officers of all ranks within the jurisdiction.

During this respectful and respectful meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his deep gratitude to the men and women in uniform for their daily commitment to serving the public and protecting lives and property in a challenging security environment.
