This victory allows our Grenadiers to continue their journey in the competition and move closer to their main objective. The next match is scheduled for August 4, 2026, at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico, where the Grenadiers will face Costa Rica's "Ticos" in the quarterfinals. A victory would secure Haiti's qualification for the next U20 Men's World Cup, a competition in which the country has never participated.

A win against Costa Rica would also open the door to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, another sporting event in which Haitian football has never participated.
