During this interview, the Ambassador took stock with the Minister of the security situation in Haiti. He also reaffirmed France's commitment to supporting Haiti in the modernization of its judicial system and in the rise of the Haitian National Police (PNH), through training and operational capacity support actions.

As part of judicial cooperation, around twenty Haitian justice professionals: lawyers, magistrates and other actors in the judicial system https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-48352-france-warns-haiti-s-prime-minister.html recently went to France for specialized training devoted to the implementation of penal reform in Haiti.

In terms of internal security cooperation, four training courses have already been carried out in 2026 and five others are scheduled by the end of this year. Delivered by experts from the French National Police, they aim to strengthen the skills of intervention services and judicial police services engaged in the fight against organized crime.
