Calendar of official exams of the Ministry of Education

According to the calendar of official exams of the Ministry of Education, students in the 6th year of fundamental will compose between 19 and 20 June 2013. Those of the 9th from June 25 to 27. The baccalaureate exams will be held from July 1 to 4 for students of Rhéto and fr 8 to 12 July for those of Philo. Students of the Normal School Teachers (ENI), will compose of 24 to 28 July. This year, there will be no permanent bachelor. At the Rhéto, bachelors will compose in all subjects clarified the Ministry.

Stéphanie site visit

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism has begun a visit to Jacmel, Wednesday, May 1 to assess the state of progress of various tourist sites of the Government in the region. On Wednesday, the Minister attended in the afternoon, at the closing ceremony of the first phase of consolidation and rehabilitation of the historic building of the Town Hall of Jacmel and reiterated on this occasion the Government's commitment to makes of Jacmel "an international cultural tourism destination."

Intellectual property Industrial

As part of the activities for the week of Intellectual Property, theMinistry of Commerce and Industry organized to the Ministry an open day to attract the attention of entrepreneurs, in particular, and the public, generally, on the importance for the economic development of Haiti, of the promotion, the supervision, and protection of industrial intellectual property: patents, industrial designs, trademarks, manufactures commercial brands as well as trade names.

Civics and moral instruction courses mandatory

The Ministry of Education informs that all schools operate on Haitian territory are obliged to include in their training curriculum, civics and moral instruction courses, from the academic year 2013-2014. To this end, the Ministry commits to subsidize textbooks on these subjects, to allow greater accessibility to students.
