The Office of Energy Security, use Biodiesel

René Jean-Jumeau, Minister Delegate to the energy security informs that now the Bureau use biodiesel for their vehicles. The tests are in progress. Biodiesel is produced from a variety of vegetable oils and is less polluting than diesel oil based product.

The DPC informs that a young man is reported missing in Saint Louis Du Nord, carried away by the river Barres, that he tried to cross. One person is missing in Hinche, where at least 373 families were evacuated on Friday and Saturday due to floods. Laboratory multimedia in Miragoâne

Last week, the Digicel Foundation has inaugurated a multimedia laboratory in Miragoâne. Equipped with a dozen computers worth more than 3 million gourdes, offered by Digicel, the Centre is one of the 12 laboratories that will be built in the country through the project "Nap Vanse" of Women in Democracy and with the financing of Digicel.

Floral tribute in honor of the Founding Fathers

Friday, in the presence of President Michel Martelly and First Lady, the President of the Republic of Suriname, Désiré Delano Bouterse, assisted by his wife Ingrid Bouterse, filed a floral offering at the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), in honor of the Founding Fathers. Mrs. Michèle G. Frisch, Director General of MUPANAH, invited members of the official mission to a guided tour at the museum, so they can enjoy the highlights of the history of Haiti.
