The Department of Tourism North meets World Bank

Friday, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry of Tourism met with two representatives of the World Bank on the Organization of Destination Management (EMT). The objective was to rule on the status of the OGD, a new structure, which aims to give support to the development strategy of the North Destination, by emphasis on the management structure of the National Historical Park (Citadelle, Ramiers, Sans Souci).

According to Mr. Ardrouin Zéphirin Departmental Delegate North, Me Tadéus was appointed Tuesday, acting Commissioner of Cap-Haitien in replacement of Me Yves Martial whose installation had been boycotted by the Bar Association of the Cap.

Appointment of 2 Substitutes Commissioners for Environment

This week, the Ministry of Justice nominated at the request of the Ministry of Environment, 2 substitutes Government Commissioners for the Environment : Me Ronald Pierre and Me Pierre Luckner Sanon that will be responsible for the records of the Environment respectively to the Prosecutor's office of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince and Croix-des-Bouquets. Dr. Jean Francois Thomas, Minister of the Environment, considers these nominations as a great asset in the field of environmental protection.
