Ministry of Tourism at the XI Council of Ministers of Petrocaribe

Friday, a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism participated in the discussions of the sectoral table on Tourism at the XI Council of Ministers of Petrocaribe. The main points that have been discussed in the workshop focused on the tourism developmentof the Petrocaribe Economic Zone through a proposal submitted by the Dominican Republic. Migration facilitation, incentives for investment, the creation of a regional airline and the creation of a fund for the promotion of regional tourism, are, among others, the main points that were discussed in this workshop.

Names of 13 deputies accusers

3 deputies call for the impeachment and removal of President Martelly, the impeachment and resignation of the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe and of Minister of Justice, Jean Renel Sanon among others, for various crimes including high treason, embezzlement, lies to the nation, abuse of power, embezzlement of public funds, etc... They are the deputies Levaillant Louis Jeune, Sadrac Dieudonné, Jean Danton Léger, Jacinthe Sorel, Patrick Joseph, Arnel Bélizaire, Dorgil Jusclaire, Jules Lionel Anélus, Faustin Poly, Guerda B. Benjamin, Dieujuste Johnson, Denius Francen and Sinal Bertrand.

Tribute to Tropicana in Parliament

Friday, the offices of both Houses of Parliament have organized a tribute ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the orchestra Tropicana of Haiti, the second oldest musical group after Brabant (65). During the ceremony, plaques of honor and merit were awarded to two former members of the Group, Cina O. Charles and Pelota Pierre.
