The main political opposition organizations grouped in the Patriotic Movement of Democratic Opposition (MOPOD) : RDNP, PLH, PROP, Ayisyen pou Ayiti, KID, Ansanm Nou Fo, INITE, Fusion and OPL announced for September 30 a large mobilization against the "Tet Kale" regime. The MOPOD asks the President Martelly to resign and says it is open to dialogue to ease the transition. This demonstration coincides with the 22th anniversary of the coup against former President Jean Bertrand Aristide.
Diplomatic relations with Palestine
Friday on the sidelines of ceremonies held at the United Nations in New York, Haiti has established diplomatic relations with Palestine. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Malki signed the protocol that states the establishment of effective diplomatic relations immediately after the signing ceremony. The two countries should exchange ambassadors in the near future.
Results of the classification of tourist establishments

Extension of the mission of Cuban Forestry experts
A meeting was held between the Ministry of Haiti Environment (MDE) and the Ministry of Agriculture of Cuba in order to undertake a new agreement to extend the mission of Forestry experts Cubans who offer technical support to the National Reforestation Campaign.
World Habitat Day
Friday took place a planning meeting to the Unit of housing construction and of public buildings (UCLBP) around the organization of an "Open Day" on the actions taken by the Government in the housing sector of the habitat on the occasion of the celebration of World Habitat Day on October 7.
