Dominican ready to invest $60 million in Haiti

A group of Dominican investors wishes to implement in Haiti a company specialized in solar energy and hydropower. They have told the Prime Minister Evans Paul, they have already conducted a market study in Haiti with a view to install this company and that $60 million was available for this purpose.

Fire at the municipal market of Petit-Goâve

On the night of Monday 9 to Tuesday, February 10, 2015, around 1:00 am, two containers of goods were completely destroyed by fire, despite the intervention of security and police officers.
