Wednesday, the engineer Jacques Evelt Éveillard, the new Minister of Public Works announced the construction of a temporary metal bridge over the Rivière Grise, on Route #9, connecting Cité soleil to the National #1 (north of the capital) pending the reconstruction of the bridge partially collapsed on 18 March https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-16913-icihaiti-flash-bridge-collapse-on-riviere-grise.html

This temporary bridge should be opened to traffic in June 2016.
