The latest aggression was perpetrated Friday, May 13, 2016 around 6 p.m. against Réginald Gédéon, student representative of INAGHEI in the Council of the University by a group of six people including two students of the UEH clearly identified Kébert Bastien and Claudy Métellus. The Council of the State University of Haiti urges the Executive Council to provide all necessary support to the student victim and instructs all relevant bodies to take appropriate sanctions against the perpetrators, without prejudice of legal actions to undertake. Elections : Also Tuesday, members of the University Council (24 present out of 36) have finally proceeded to the election of new leaders. Were elected Fritz Deshommes new Rector (2nd Round 13 votes for, 10 against).
