iciHaiti - Health : Fight against drug-resistant superbugs

Drug-resistant micro-organisms are a serious risk to human and animal health. CDC Haiti is working with Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the National Public Health Laboratory to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Haiti by training laboratorians to identify deadly AMR pathogens.
Combatting AMR is a key component of the Global Health Security Agenda and critical to preventing the spread of drug-resistant superbugs.
