iciHaiti - Health : Minister Clément condemns acts of vandalism on the Covid-19 Center
Thursday, in a note Dr. Marie Gréta Roy, Minister of Public Health, condemns the acts of vandalism perpetrated Tuesday by "so-called employees" of the National Ambulance Center (CAN) of the Department of Artibonite https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-30647-icihaiti-covid-19-striking-paramedics-ransack-sanitary-facilities.html in the buildings to serve as the Center for the management of serious cases of Covid-19 including "The materials were seriously ransacked".

"While condemning the anarchic behavior of the perpetrators of this heinous act which risks endangering the lives of several inhabitants of the region already concerned enough about the possible risks of the spread of the disease, Minister Clément invites the judicial and police authorities to the area to promptly conduct an investigation to identify the culprits and punish them in accordance with the law. In a democratic society, violence cannot be the way to use to convey its demands with unspeakable acts which do not do honor to the people of Gonaïvienne.

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) invites everyone to keep calm and take the opportunity to express their solidarity with those who suffered verbal and/or physical attacks during this incident."
