Monday, Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH), confirmed on the airwaves of several radios of the capital, that 3 people had been killed Sunday, September 6 during an attempted robbery between Avenue John Brown (Lalue) and Canapé-Vert.

Several armed individuals collided with a police patrol as they were about to carry out a robbery and opened fire to cover their escape, injuring 2 police officers. Responding the patrol, shot one of the thieves and arrested one of the accomplices, the others managed to escape.

During the shooting 2 passers-by were killed, including a passenger in a public transport, Michel-Ange Louis Jeune said.
